This policy applies to both online and offline interactions and activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Policy Statement<\/strong><br>Child A.C.T. is committed to fostering a culture of safety and zero tolerance for abuse, harassment, discrimination, or any behavior that jeopardizes the well-being and dignity of individuals in our community. We believe that everyone has the right to feel safe and respected, regardless of their age, gender, ethnicity, religion, or background.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Scope<\/strong><br>This policy applies to all individuals associated with Child A.C.T., including but not limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Program participants<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Volunteers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Staff and trainers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Partner organisations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Beneficiaries and their families<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It covers all interactions, whether in person or through digital platforms, including social media, emails, messaging apps, and online forums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Code of Conduct<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Respect and Inclusivity<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Treat all individuals with respect and dignity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Avoid language or behavior that is discriminatory, demeaning, or offensive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Zero Tolerance for Abuse<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Child A.C.T. strictly prohibits all forms of abuse, including physical, emotional, sexual, and online abuse.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any form of bullying, harassment, or intimidation will not be tolerated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Safe Communication<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Use appropriate and professional language in all interactions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Avoid sharing sensitive personal information about others without consent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Boundaries and Consent<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Respect personal and professional boundaries at all times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Seek explicit consent before engaging in activities that involve others, such as taking photos or recording conversations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Accountability<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Report any violations of this policy to the designated safeguarding officer or authority.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cooperate with investigations into alleged misconduct.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Online Community Guidelines<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Appropriate Use<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Use online platforms responsibly and for purposes aligned with the goals of Child A.C.T.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Refrain from posting content that is harmful, inappropriate, or irrelevant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Privacy Protection<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Do not share personal or sensitive information about yourself or others without consent.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Respect confidentiality in all online discussions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reporting Abuse<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Report any online abuse, cyberbullying, or suspicious activity to the program administrator immediately.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Offline Community Guidelines<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Safe Spaces<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensure that all Child A.C.T. activities take place in safe, accessible, and welcoming environments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be vigilant about the safety of participants, especially minors and vulnerable individuals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Supervision and Monitoring<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensure adequate supervision during activities to prevent misconduct or accidents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Address any safety concerns promptly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Emergency Procedures<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Familiarize yourself with emergency protocols and contacts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reporting and Response<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Reporting Channels<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Any concerns or incidents related to this policy can be reported to the safeguarding officer via childactmy@gmail.com with the subject line REPORT.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reports can also be made anonymously if preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Investigation Process<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All reports will be taken seriously and investigated promptly, fairly, and confidentially.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Appropriate actions, including disciplinary measures, will be taken based on the findings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Support for Victims<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Child A.C.T. will provide support and resources to individuals affected by abuse or misconduct.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This includes access to counseling services, referrals, and advocacy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Policy Review and Updates<\/strong><br>This policy will be reviewed annually or as necessary to ensure it remains relevant and effective.
